Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH)

-The pressure encountered by a fluid on the suction side of a centrifugal pump is measured by NPSH, which stands for Net Positive Suction Head.

-The total head of fluid at the centre line of the impeller less the fluid's vapour pressure is defined as NPSH.

- A centrifugal pump is a mechanical device that moves a fluid by transferring rotational energy from one or more driven rotors known as impellers.

-Fluid enters the quickly spinning impeller along its axis and is expended by centrifugal force throughout its circle via the vane tips.
