Objective:- You must discuss and dispute in order to persuade the audience that you are correct.

MAKE THEM FEEL TO GET WHAT YOU WANT

1. Empathetic 2. Logical

3. Formally established

The content of a speech is far more important than the manner. It's more of a script because it's designed to be spoken rather than written. There is no set format, such as an article or letter; the emphasis here is on your language skills. You should aim to include all of the following persuasive writing language techniques:

A FOREST:

A Alliteration

F Facts

O Opinions

R Repetition

E Emotive Language

S Statistics

T Three (rule of)

Exam Tips:

• Write as though you were speaking. Your speech should read more like a transcript than an essay.

•When practising, use a text-to-speech dictation app and voice aloud your response once you've written it down.

•Then, examine how the writing appears on paper to get a sense of how your speech will seem.
